Used to work with a customer in one of the tall buildings around memorial city mall. Late afternoon meeting were the worst. Sitting on the high level floor facing the interstate while in a conference room. Staring at the interstate building up with traffic realizing every minute you were there was another 20 minutes in traffic. And we were leaving LATE if it was 4. Feel sorry for the power souls working until 5.

Ever heard of The Woodlands, Cypress, etc.? I have way more trees than your average Louisiana neighborhood built on an old sugar cane field. My biggest concern going out for a jog after dark is running up on a deer or tripping over rabbits.

Even in closer neighborhoods, there is more trees and parks than you realize. You have to know the area, but they are there.

Used to drive on it every day.....while they were widening it too.

That's a photo of infrastructure. It probably confuses a lot of people in Louisiana.

I sit on it every morning on the way to work in City Centre. Take the beltway to westpark home though. I tried taking i10 to 610 home one day and it was the most miserable time of my life.

Houston is such a clusterfrick. I made a ton of cash in the months I was there, but God was I miserable. There's more to life than cash.

I did 5-6 times a week for a year in 2013. Don't miss commuting from Houston to Katy but at least I was going against the flow.
