I’ve got two Kuwait Liberation Medals for serving in the First Gulf War. One came from Kuwait the other Saudi Arabia.

Not much to tell from my end. The NK navy fired on some RoK fishing boats, shite apparently escalated, and we got the alert and rolled up to the dmz to wait for the word to cross. Things calmed down and we were getting drunk in the ville by that evening.

Really just a BS political garbage award. Its main use ended up being irritating CSM's who were jealous they didn't have one.

Some SF baws gave me this on my last pump before getting out. My deserts had obviously seen better days, so maybe they just felt bad for us low-budget crayon eaters

Also had a bunch of nic-nacs from some South Korean baws and some Iraqis but that’s all probably in storage somewhere.

IIRC, the Vietnam Service Ribbon (yellow and red) is a US award and the Vietnamese Campaign Ribbon (green and white) was a South Vietnamese ribbon awarded to foreign fighters.

Also, various versions of the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry were awarded by the RSVN for both individual and unit valor.

There is still no “Conspicuous Service Award” lol.
