We we're going to do this. Opted to spend 6 days in Bryce/Zion vs. One day in each park...
Went to Zion a few years ago. Amazing. Go the the Emerald Ponds early, you'll be by yourself when you get to the top.

Hike the narrows. Awesome with kids.

How long you been at it?

My first was in 1960 when I lived in Pomona CA.

How old are the kids?? Pretty strenuous - water up to your waste at times.

Only about 5

However, I have climbed The Diamond of Long's Peak in RMNP and am currently knocking out some pretty classic routes in Utah over the next few weeks. This week Ancient Art will get added to the list

Heading to Joshua Tree and Yosemite after I finish up here

Damn. Kind of depressing when I think about it, but only eight. Smokies, Lassen, Zion, Rainier, Death Valley, Yosemite, Cascades, and Olympics.

eta- nine, forgot Joshua Tree
eta2- Also Carlsbad Caverns. I should have read the thread before commenting.
eta3- Bryce and Redwood. I'm going to read the thread now.
