I don't see the point of biker gangs unless you are a washed up vet or convict who no longer has skills to thrive in society. Basically because they can't do anything else. But a middle-aged man going through a midlife crisis and joinging what is basically the same Wild Hogs is just sad

Not sure who you think you're talking about. I've been a member of my club since the mid 90s.

Well in the past year we've raised enough money to help the family of a disabled boy buy the specialized van they need to be able to take him anywhere

We raised the money to cover the burial expenses a young couple were facing after their 4 month old daughter died.

We collected hundreds of Christmas presents to go to the Toys for Tots organization.

We also supported the efforts of other local MCs that benefited everything from breast cancer research, a children's home in south Alabama, St Jude's, and backpacks and school supplies to under privileged children.

Up next is our yearly event to benefit a local animal rescue operation.

What do you do?

I wasn't being facetious so you can unclinch your bhole. I was honestly curious. How do y'all do these fundraisers?

edit: Even though it isn't relevant I build and administrate LSS systems for hospitals, corporations, sports teams, and greek organizations. Honestly we could do one for your biker bros

I was only answering your question about what we do.

As to how we do them, you have to first organize a ride. That means laying out a rout with like 5 stops. You have to collect donations of door prizes. You have to set up things like lining up bands, setting up camp grounds, organizing facilities like port a potties. Then you've got to promote the event and finally you have to work during the event helping to do all the things that go into holding a ride/rally. Some are big productions that last all weekend, some just a day.

The money comes from people paying to attend your event as well as donations.

Depending on the size if the event, it can take anywhere from a month or so to a year to plan and organize.

So people just pay to watch you ride your motorcycle?

Do people who are not apart of the "family" donate? or is it pretty much all in house?

Probably for the best. Soon as word broke out you're a rapist it would be over for you with quickness.

No, they don't pay to watch, they pay to ride. It's called a poker run. They can win prizes and money. It's customary though for those who win money to donate it to whatever cause the ride is benefiting though.

No I mean the people donating. Is everyone who attends the event a "rider"?
