Let me add it up...
15 minutes - Wake up and check phone
5 minutes - Coffee brewing
10 minutes - Toilet time
10 minutes - Eating breakfast
~10 minutes - Red lights during morning/evening commute
20 minutes - Lunch at home
30 minutes - Random checking during work (what about checking the same websites on my Mac throughout the day?)
60-90 minutes - Night time after the kid's gone to bed
20 minutes - In bed falling asleep
So ~3.5 hours a day.
frick. I wish I didn't have one. Think of what else I could do during those times.

0.2 hours per day. I have other hobbies I enjoy that take up much time.

2 hours probably between browsing, answering emails, texting, etc.
4 on days when I fly.

I'm not sure about hours, but I read that the average person looks or checks their phone around 85 times per day.
