Some days 20 seconds, most days between 2.5 - 18 hours.

160 miles and about 140 minutes.

Abou5o change to 20 minutes and 10 miles.

Yeah I'm too sociable to work from home. Networking and entertaining is how relationships are built which is the backbone of my business.

I'm in outside sales. My office is just at home. I usually hit the roads right after rush hour to make my first calls.

For those of you who commute >100 miles/day, what are your reasons for not moving closer?

I'm going to begin the NO --> BR commute at the end of the month.

31 miles
35 to 40 minutes in the morning
40 to 60 minutes in the afternoon

About the same for me. Left a job with <5 min commute to advance my career. Price I pay for wanting to live in a small town and make more money.

4 days a week, 40 miles each way, average of 1:15 each way...if there are no wrecks.

From the back of The Woodlands to the galleria area in Houston sucks
