-In 2007, Thomas pleaded guilty to mail fraud and was sentenced to five years of probation
-In 2012, he was fined by the Alabama Ethics Commission for misuse of funds at a high school.
-In 2018, he pleaded guilty to two charges related to misusing school funds for personal gain while he was the principal of Greensboro High School in Alabama
After pleading guilty twice to felonies, how can he be in a leadership position at a school? Rape, Theft, Mail Fraud.

JACKSON, Miss. - A statutory rape charge has been filed against Holmes County Central High School Assistant Principal Dyana Terrelle Thomas, Leflore County Sheriff Ricky Banks said Tuesday. Banks said the accusation was reported by the parent of a 17-year-old female student on Thursday. Banks said the accusation involved one incident but would not give a date.

This happened in Holmes County, Mississippi.
Holmes County is the poorest county/parish in America. They cannot get people to teach there. Something like 60% of their teachers are unqualified.
It doesn't surprise me that they would hire someone like this.

The Clarion Ledger reached Deborah Antoine, the Holmes County Consolidated School District's chief of staff, by phone and asked to talk about the district's process for hiring and screening job candidates, including whether they conduct background checks.
Antoine declined to answer.
"We're not going to discuss that," she said, then offered to email a written statement.
The district's statement reads: "The safety and well-being of students is always our highest priority. We have completed our investigation and it has been turned over to law enforcement. This is a Personnel matter and will be handled accordingly."
