Dad was in the Air Force and I was born in Omaha, 949.5 miles from Baton Rouge. I was raised in Baton Rouge and Central. Inherited my parents home in Central that has been in our family since they built it in 1977. So, 0 miles from where I was raised from Jr. High on. Retiring soon and getting away from the heat and hurricanes. Moving to NC or TN in about 3 years.

Around 900 miles from Mountain View, CA (where I was born) to Sierra Vista, AZ (where I live now), which is coincidentally Spanish for 'Mountain View.'

About the same distance to Palo Alto (where I grew up) which is the next town over from Mountain View.

About 165 miles. Have lived as far away as 6500 miles though. We move every time the rent comes due LOL. 9 times over the last 28 years, an average of 1699.7 from Atlanta miles each time.

My ancestors homesteaded this region in 1852. Except for college and a little time with Uncle Sam, I've lived within 15 miles of the old home place all my life.

I used to live in the same town in Lousiana but now As far as I can- the crime, drugs, crooked politicians, cost of living and lack of change has finally driven me away- it took a lifetime to see it- my biggest mistake was moving back after I had left once.

About 100 miles or so. Avoyelles Parish to Livingston Parish. Both are trashy just coon-asses in one and red necks in the other.

350 miles, and no, this isn’t a play on the ‘tree fiddy’ common response.
