How do you strip wires from UF cable?

There is no way that my hack jobs with a utility knife are the right way to do it.

Ideal makes a UF stripper, it works wonders

If you are good you can use Lineman's pliers and just use light pressure while turning the pliers in a circle around the wire.
You can use wire strippers if you aren't good enough with lineman's pliers.

I use Dykes most of the time, then I got a set of needle nose with 8 wire stripper holes, I use that a lot. I usually have to strip 16 ga or smaller.

Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and go on the A/V cable aisle, usually near the light bulbs. I bought one from there when I was running lines to my different TVs from my antenna. It was a kit that came with the stripper, crimper, and a ton of connections.
