Overall I suppose, yes. Or from a physics standpoint...in terms of energy...efficiency.
What is rational is not always good for the soul, unfortunately.

People from Nebraska, or who enjoy Nebraska, are trashy.

Its true, the uppity people who do nothing but talk abut trashy people 24/7 tend to be the trashiest, they just do a good job of covering up their overall trashiness.

the uppity people
What? How does observing a particular pattern in certain populations make someone "self-important" and arrogant? If working hard in school, getting a job, and working hard at that job to provide for my family is "uppity", then so be it. Sorry that I just happen to observe people who choose to only care for themselves above others and don't want to work for anything.

That was a snobby comment.

I'd bet you would get a few wrong.

I agree some people are into body art and self expression. I hung out with people in California that some people would say were trashy due to their body art. Some of them own their own successful businesses.
If you look at their morals, way they raise their kids, money they have in the bank which is probably a lot more than guy that posted this post, and how they put back into the community I would think they are doing ok.
I would ask are they trashy or expressing themselves along with being happy unlike the uptight person who started this post!

I first noticed this in the 1960's with the hippies!
The hippies rebelled against everything in society. After a while, I noticed that in order to show your rebellion, you had to dress, act and live a certain way.
In other words, in order to rebel against the current social structure, you had to rebel in a specific manner in order to show your unhappiness with society.
Not much has changed in the last 50 years.

You're very off. Very very off.
You seem to be of the mind that the only discerning characteristic is tattoos.....which as I stated is not the only thing. Tattoos by no means indicate anything in particular by themselves. Military individuals have tattoos.
Probably do have more money in the bank than me....but really odd you feel like you have to say that, especially right after talking about the moral high ground they stand on.
How am I uptight exactly? You clearly were unable to understand the post in its entirety.
Or you don't know what's being talked about period.
But I applaud your cause for the tattooed rich tech executive. They are surely a marginalized group. We should all pay attention to their noble deeds they are bestowing upon the world.
