How do people live off the I-12 corridor between Covington and Baton Rouge?

That stretch of interstate should have been 3 lanes each direction 20 yrs ago, but in typical Louisiana fashion it won’t be complete for probably another 10 yrs.

If you live around that area, you are probably not really using the interstate all that much.
Where I live, I don't have to get on highways to go where I need to go, unless I am going out of town.. So I would imagine it's sort of the same with the interstate.

Yeah, no, that’s not correct.
Why would I go ten extra miles of backroads to go the same place? That’s silly. I used i12 4 times today.
