re: How did you get your puppy

I spent about 5 months talking to breeders because I was looking for a specific breed, color pattern, etc and had a similar experience.

No way am I going to Venmo someone two states away $700 as a deposit so time after time, I kept striking out and was prepared to just adopt.

The just a couple of weeks ago someone in our neighborhood realized they had to get rid of a puppy they just bought their daughter for Christmas due to a recently discovered auto immune disorder in the child and was wanting to let it go FAR LESS than what they paid when they bought her so we jumped all over it.

Never had a Yorkie and she's a stubborn little shite but sweet as can be, sleeps through the night, I still havent heard her bark and she really brings alot of joy to my wife and daughter.

Dog rescue. Ours was kept in a crate because he owner was agoraphobic and didn't want her out and around in the house, so she was confined for about a year before rescued.

Now she has a big house and s big yard to be able to be a dog. Best decision we made

Used Petfinder and picked up a purebred border collie who must have escaped his owner's farm in rural Virginia. Best dog, though not for everyone.
