That’s Pineville there, please don’t confuse with Ellick!

The Pineville Expressway…LaDotd why did they need an “expressway” for such a small town and not build something like this for larger cities like Houma or Thibodaux.

Coonasses from Avoyelles and other surrounding parishes definitely use Alexandria as their hub for XYZ therefore it’s not uncommon to hear Cajun accents around town.

Also many may have moved there over the years for work school etc.

They had the one by the state police triangle building and the drive in and another in MacArthur maybe? Near the shopping areas. Maybe a kmart. We hit both going to Toledo bend back in the day
