Lack of interest or opportunity?

Why do women go to a men's club?

I love female clubs. Never understood going to watch men "strip".

But again, times have changed so I'm sure that raunchy crap some are speaking of does happen-I just never saw it.
I was around back in the late 70's and early 80's when grass and coke flowed like water and AIDS was not in the mainstream. I am not aware of any of the strippers being gay and the women who participated were far raunchier than any men's club. Men were not allowed in the audience or even through the door. Unless you were staff or had access to the back there were no outside men. Newsflash, women cheat just as bad as men. They are just better at not being as obvious about it.

It was that way when I went to see the male strippers. Nowadays, I have no clue what goes down in those clubs.

I’ve also never seen a male stripper, LL.
We are in the same boat.
We are in the same boat.

My friends wanted to go to the All Male Revue at the Texas Club in 2002-ish. It was so bad. Another time, we got sucked into a male strip club on Bourbon Street. We ended up being the only people in there, and suddenly had several black men in neon thongs grinding near my (virgin) friend’s face. She was traumatized.

I don’t think going to a strip club means one is cheating. However, I would not be cool with my fiancé or wife going to one.

You have not missed much
Basically men who are taking money from women then treating them badly. Pretty sleazy folks and much different when you see them in the daylight and are sober. At least back then you could get a shot if you contracted something but nowadays you get the clap and it can kill you. Human nature is what it is and certainly not worth the risk if you have others in your life.
Back in the old days the gay clubs were owned by the mob not just because they made lots of money but because they knew secrets they could use against the patrons. Not rocket science that Hoover never went after the Mafia because they had the blackmail on his lifestyle.

Did she ever get over it or did she just enter the nun-hood

I went for the first time when I was 19 or 20. You're a lot younger than me. Back in the day when I went, it was completely different.
