since I get volunteered to help everyone with just about any project, I'm sure I can look pretty rough when I'm out and about, depending on the project, and could give a rat's arse

Amen to that! I haven't bought myself clothes in years but my wife continually buys me shirts etc. Closet is jammed packed even tho I donate a lot of it to charity once a year. And we have a second closet that is half full of jackets I have never worn. Most still have the price tags on them.

But they were on "special", so we saved a lot of money.

I wear tucked in collared shirts everyday for work, so no fricks are given on the weekend. My only stipulation is that my shirt and jeans are clean and not wrinkled.
