re: How Are Ice Cream Trucks Still Profitable?

In the late 70s and early 80's I had a supplier who lived in a notorious housing project on the west side of Atlanta. There was an "ice cream" truck in that neighborhood that sold bread by the slice, bologne by the slice, single cigarettes, half pint bottles of cheap whiskey, single beers, if you needed a small amount of something chances are good he had it...I suspect in some neighborhoods he also sold other stuff but in that neighborhood that market was spoken for...I suspect that old boy was making some serious bank...
