Yes. I believe it was a Listserv type message board and you could post as a guest. It was bright Yellow if I recall.

I followed a link to either Tiger Rant or SEC Rant years ago and pretty much just lurked (don't really do much posting now either) for a few years. I don't know why it never occurred to me to click on the other pages, but deer hunting one day a few years ago I clicked on the OT-Lounge and that thread with all of the scary stories was on the first page. I was hooked on that thread and kept coming back

That's where I got my first taste of CFB smacktalk, and it was glorious. Prepared me for all you fools around here.
I remember when they announced that they were shutting them down I was stunned and saddened. I had nowhere to go for several years.

I had a buddy that would read the board back when Bama was about to hire Saban. He told me about it and I signed up. My first username caught a permaban.

I can't remember.
I seem to remember going to the Tiger Lair all the time during recruiting and someone referenced the site and that's how I found it initially.
