Got a question. Just got off a boat from offshore and on a bus with the crew heading back to our cars at the heliport in Houma. We are just getting service back and trying to figure out if we can make it back to Lafayette. We've gotten some mixed reports as to whether 90 is passable or not. We know it's closed in spots but have been told that cops are just directing people around.

Any advice or alternative options would be greatly appreciated. We are mainly just trying to get to I10.

Got a bus full of guys that were supposed to come in Wednesday that are trying to figure out how to get to their families...

According to waze you can make it to St. Lewis street in New Iberia on 90. After that, you'll have to take back roads. I would download the app and search for a route. I'll be doing the same thing tomorrow morning.

Curfew in Lafayette tonight till 6 AM. Water has dropped considerably at my house overnight, though. 90 was completely shut down at 89 yesterday. Wish I had more info for you, what part of Lafayette you headed for? Good luck man,

Actually I was heading to Opelousas. We really just needed to get to 10. We took 189 to 31 through St Martinville and up to Breaux Bridge and got on there.

No problems at all.

We were able to take hwy 14 down to Abbeville and hop on 167 back through lafayette to hwy 90. That was about 4:00 Friday and even though those roads were much higher than the rest there was still standing water in several spots. Multiple parts of 90 through Broussard are completely closed.
