Million Belles for me and that poor QH that wrecked last Good Friday.

I mean I didn't cry like a girl or anything, but it was hard to stomach.

Saw one flip over in the paddock at evd one night. Must've fractured his skull. Kept falling over and having seizures. They tried for 20 damn minutes to load that horse on the ambulance with him falling over before they finally gave up and put him down. First trip to the track for my at the time boyfriend. Surprised he came back after.

yeah saw a foal kill himself (well he had killed himself) by running into the pipe fence at his barn. Apparently the mexican was trimming trees and spooked the baby. In his haste to escape he ran head first into the pipe fence. Money gone. There goes that stud fee.

Mine tries to commit suicide frequently. Last time he tried to amputate his leg in the gate.

After reading this thread and your horse stories, I hope you have good life insurance on him.

I wish I had insurance on him...

This, for example, is the picture I got while I was getting my makeup done for BB's wedding. Such fun.

That was a bite and/or kick. Someone turned a mare out next to him and he jumped in with her (yes, he's cut). Just the only one of his injury pictures I had handy

The attempted leg removal was pretty gross too. This is the tb that resembles a qh.

GTG, someone posted a dead horse on page 1

Used to be a medic at the Fairgrounds and have seen horses rare back, crack their skulls in the paddock and die instantly. I've seen dozens of horses fracture legs, get put down and thrown into the horse dumpster.
It's an every day occurrence...unfortunately
