Close to 40 years of almost non-stop study of history coupled with a passion for tanks (I was a tanker myself) and an almost photographic memory for things I read.

I had lunch up there. Took a bunch of pics. The elevator is awesome.

Anybody know the story behind the elevator?

Yep. The man standing next to MacArthur is Major George Patton commanding the cavalry unit that took on the Bonus Army.
