Well it's a port and it's from extremely high altitude. The good detail of the picture tells me it was taken with a sophisticated camera as well.
I really could not tell you much more.

Weddings bands found after the liberation of a Nazi death camp. These were taken from Jews before they were gassed.

I want that to be Hiroshima, but I don't think we could have gotten an overhead picture like that.
That picture is too hi-res and a little too overhead for comfort - this is the iconic photo of the Hiroshima mushroom cloud:
Nagasaki is a little clearer and somewhat more distinctive as the lower approximately half of the column is very dark, comparatively speaking:
I do have to remind myself that I'm looking at the moment of death of scores of thousands of people, mainly civilians - otherwise, I'm a little too awestruck by our nation's technological ingenuity.

Honestly, it looks like an American design. But I haven't a clue as to what it really is.

I've always been amazed by this "before & after" of that bomb...
It looks virtually swept clean.

That swastika would be blue, if in color (hint it is squared off, not diagonal), so that makes it Finnish.
As for the make and model, that's a F2A Brewster Buffalo - U.S. manufacturer - it was quickly replaced by the F4F for the USN and Brewster ended up selling a bunch of planes to warring factions, mainly the Finns.
I had completely forgotten about them until you posted this pic, Darth.
