No, that is Fort Douaumont. It was part of the French defenses around Verdun.

Yeah, but didn't the Germans take that Fort and hold it for months and months?

dang it. I know it and can't remember it.

It was based on an earlier biplane float fighter that has the same tail and it was designed by Ernst Heinkel.

It was a Navy plane.

Yes. It was one of the key forts around Verdun. But by early 1916 the French had stripped it of most of it's garrison and guns, sending them into trenches outside the fort instead. The Germans easily took the in the opening days of their initial offensive in 1916. The French spent almost a year trying to take it back.
