Bingo. Hippies won’t get violent with you and will leave you the frick alone so long as you don’t try to frick with their vibe. That’s all SJWs are into is fricking up everyone’s vibe that doesn’t agree with you. I kind of am. I have a problem with how actual hippies run their lives, but I’ve never had a bad time hanging out with them and discussing the world. They’re actually very civil so long as you don’t deliberately try to frick up the vibe. Hippies still at least try to be open minded. SJWs scream from the rooftop that they’re open minded, but if anyone remotely disagrees with the orthodoxy, they act like the disciples from The Life of Brian.
The hermit would be the actual hippie in their presence that slightly disagrees with them.

There are aspects of "hippie" that I think form an important synthesis with conservatism. A concern for nature, spiritual introspection, and a general regard for your fellow man at a personal level are all things that align well.

Hippies, while filthy dirty, were not as huge, unattractive, and pitiful as the SJWs are. They were for the most part loaded—at least the ones I encountered. All about peace, love and weed.

At the least, Hippies had a real war to protest and a real civil rights struggle to support. Maybe the hippies were ultimately superficial and mostly just didn’t want to be drafted, but whatever.
