Just witness one eastbound in between the split and Essen. I don’t know the details and can’t find anything on any news app. Anyone else witness it?

High speed

This is relative. Chase is happening at 18 mph with several dead stops between Airline and O’Neal

Yes towards airline. I did see one police officer get off at Millerville but not sure where it ended

How did I-12 ever get to be its own interstate?

Looks like it should have been one of the I-10 3 digit "bypass" designations, like I-410.

I think people would be shocked to know how many high-speed chases occur in this city every week.

We should've just named them both I-10

Yep. I was heading Westbound at around 8:45 and at least 6 police vehicles were heading east in emergency mode.
