Rape / sexual assault are pretty interchangeable when talking about forensic evidence being analyzed. Bottom line is there was no sexual contact reported by either party and no evidence of it in the samples taken during the examination.

Had that been the story press releases would look much different. “13 year old child raped by inmate” is a whole different can of worms.
