I feel slightly less bad for them when I watch shows about their hatch to their journey to the sea- when birds are plucking them off by the hundreds

We ate a huge Leatherback Turtle that a shrimp boat caught in the GOM back n the 70’s.
It weighed 700 lbs or so. This was before TED’s and it had drowned in the net.
Beautiful meat.
