Yep, Massa was lucky to come back from that accident without permanent eye or brain damage. It was crazy watching the onboard camera from that accident - he lost consciousness as soon as he the spring hit his helmet/head but somehow the brain still sent a message to his leg to apply the brakes and kinda slow down the car somewhat before he hit the barriers....or maybe he just took his foot off the accelerator

On a side note, that’s what F1 cars should sound like. The sound from the new power units is awful.
