For an extended family get together this summer in East Baton Rouge or Livingston Parish.

We want to keep the effort low. Cut a check and be done with it.

40-50 people. Ages 2-85.

Ideally the place will provide food and bar. High top tables to mill around and visit without being tied to a banquet style seat.

Something safe for the kids to do so adults can visit.

Second choice would be a place to have catered.

For your trouble:

lauberge has rooms you can rent that'll fit that many people. You can have it catered with a bar.

You can rent that Red Stick Social place for a private party. Not sure if their food is any good or how kid friendly it is.

Mike Anderson's Side Porch sounds like what you are looking for. Has its' own bar. You can have buffet style food or order from the menu or you can create your own menu.

Yup - had a party there myself and it was perfect. Roughly 40 people. Good food, good drinks, and they let you sort of “decorate” for your event.
