Help. What non-STEM college majors require at least one physics course?

Any?

Pretty sure any major requiring physics is going to be considered STEM.

Not necessarily. LSU offers two different types of physics courses. One is calculus based and the other is not

Pretty much means the Science of movement. So it loosely applies

In principle, yeah. But it’s not a STEM major

I had to take the first two physics (science major one) for kinesiology(pre physical therapy) but this was almost 20 years ago.

May have been the PT school admission requirement and not LSU. Honestly can’t remember.

Idk if you count Construction Management as an Engineering degree but it requires 2 physics courses.

Why?

If you have a physics credit dont select major based on that one course. Just apply the physics as an elective. Besides, any BS is going to require a number of science credits just not specifically physics. I applied microbiology, physics, chemistry, geology, and labs to a BS in Political Science.

It would vary per university and degree audit.

It’s a STEM and i would imagine it’s in the college of engineering, not college of business

It's 100% a science major. Unless you're changing the definition of STEM.

It's the science of body movement ffs.

Yea, thought about excluding business school BSs, but y'all still at least take business calc and whatnot.

Kinesiology is a STEM major though.

Depends on the program. The only ones i can guarantee requiring physics are physics and engineering. Someone has already pointed out that there's a distinction between calculus based and algebra based physics so your math background os important too

What’s your situation?

What’s your end game to finding a major that requires physics but isn’t Stem?
