Help ordering a F250 (NSFW)

So as a long term reader of the OT I know the Will Cover method of buying a new car. I also know the strategy of emailing 30 dealerships with what you want and choose the best offer after 48 hours. Does anyone have any advice for ordering vehicle?
I'm looking at a F250 and the only way to get the color/options that I want as to order the vehicle. Most dealers stop talking to me when they realize I won't buy one off the lot. The ones who continue to talk to me require a trade or for me to use their 6.9% financing. I'm currently leasing a Tundra and won't accept $22K for it when the purchase price from Toyota is $36K.
Any advice is appreciated.
Since I know how the OT works, I present Kate Bock for your troubles.

You getting the 7.3? Gonna get a 7.3 next summer but I don't really care about color.

Looking to get a 6.7 Diesel Lariat in Blue. Wife (no pics) wants the Black Appearance package so I'm getting that to get the truck. Few other options here and there.
Local dealer didn't know F250s came in Blue...

I ordered a Silver Spruce 7.3 XLT CCSB in June from Bolton in LC. $1k deposit. Came in September. They did not charge me anything to buy/sale my old truck to a guy I had lined up.
Used x-plan pricing. I also had a $2k PCO.
No regrets.
Tried to 2 local dealers and they refused to order one.

how much off of MSRP did you pay?
Posted on 12/17/20 at 12:19 pm to erb415
Sticker was $51.5k
X-plan was $48.6k
PCO was $2k
Rebate during Sept was $500
So paid $46.1k
No doubt you will come out paying less to order one cause you won’t be paying for any options you do not want.
Best decision I made all year.

My suggestion is to call the larger Ford dealers in your area and ask to speak with the Fleet Manager. If you get thru to him, tell him you are interested in ordering an F-250. He'll probably ask for company information, just try to dodge him and say you're buying it yourself and you get a vehicle allowance from your work. If he agrees, then fax or email him your specific options/color/etc.

I do have Xplan, was hoping to get better than Xplan pricing but right now I just want someone to work with me.
Can I use Xplan if I'm dealing with the Fleet Manager?

Find the ford store that you prefer to use for service. (Most convenient, best service department, whatever your reason)
Go there, tell them what you want and tell them to cut to the chase, so you don’t have to waste time shopping their price.
Order the truck.
It’s not worth the brain damage to shop everywhere for a couple of hundred dollars. Service after the sale has value- the lowest price is not always the best deal.
