At one time F-102’s were used as target practice in the William Tell.

Wait a second. How the frick is the shadow from the nose of the plane, the wings, the starting cart, etc. all to the right of what's casting the shadow, but shadows from the canards are to the left?

I still think it's a Typhoon, but that picture seems fricky.

looks like a knockoff of the B-58 - there are about 15 of them at Davis Monthan AB in AZ..at least they were there in 2007.

Looks like a B58. Can't tell if those are engines or just pylons on the wings though.

Eglin is a test range for both weapon systems and radar. So could be the USA is testing radar systems on it or that someone that flies it is weapon testing on Eglin.

They also train people for the F-35 on Eglin. So someone may use it for training missions with the F-35.

The long triangular shadow to the left of the cockpit is from steps at ground level sloping up to the cockpit.

It looks like Amelia Earhart’s plane.

Mystery SOLVED?!?!?!?!

Now that I’m thinking about it, if US Government covered this up, just think what secrets they have about JFK’s assassination, UFOs, 9/11, etc....

Solved- Eurojet Typhoon

More than likely if it has been there awhile, it is probably broken down.

Can some tell which ever European country it is for to please move it or we will move it for target practice and the bombing range?
