Yelp is an extortion scam that rewards companies/services that pay them and works to discredit those that don’t. It’s way worse than the BBB. I don’t use it for that reason. Google reviews are much better at indicating the quality level a consumer is likely to experience.

I leave Google reviews every now and again. More people see those. Left one the other night for a restaurant that wasn't even trying to hide the fact that they served Sysco food straight out of the pack. It is the only place I've ever eaten Popeye's red beans that wasn't Popeye's. There was zero difference

Only once. Somewhere I went to have a service provided really pissed me off, so I made an account to leave them a bad review.
