This was the exact same thing for me growing up. Only happened at home. White figure walks across and goes past the door way entrance to the living room. I would get up and run to look and could not find anybody. I would ask everyone in the room if they saw that and of course nobody did. Use to freak me out when I was younger but when I become a teenager I just ignored it. Funny thing was I only see this at the house I grew up in and I saw it in several rooms throughout the house. Then 3 months ago I was back home. Sitting in the living room watching TV and this time in the same doorway I saw a black figure kind of leaning over the entrance looking into the room. Not going to lie. It kind of freaked me out.

Barton County Hospital in Lamar, Missouri. Top floor of the hospital is vacant. It is where old furniture, etc is stored. If you are on the floor below this top floor you can hear chairs, etc moving across the floor above you. You get up there and chairs are in different locations. I have never seen a chair moving or seen a ghost up there, but a really weird feeling walking around on the top floor.

...and I'm an atheist so I normally don't believe in anything supernatural. It was just brief enough to blow it off as a sleepy hallucination, but just long enough to freak me out. And when I researched it the next day and it matched up to something legitimate, it really freaked me out.

My MIL claimed to see ghosts and shite. She died a while back. I figure if that shite is real, we should be hearing from her soon. Nothing yet.

I had a friend that passed a couple years ago appear to me in a dream. While he was alive he never really dressed up always T-shirt and jeans with no product in his hair. He was short and stocky. When I saw him I ran up to him and gave him a big arse hug without really looking close at him. I pulled away and had my hands on his shoulders and he was slimmed down with a polo shirt tucked in and his hair was fixed, kinda looked liked he had a glow to his skin. The first thing I said was dude you look good and then asked what it was like on the other side. He was a mellow guy that never showed emotion either way so his response was perfectly him. He just got this shite eatin grin on his face and said "its alright I guess". After that he said I gotta go and I woke up. I'm usually a skeptic about these things but I do believe there's more when we die. My friend had become addicted to drugs before he passed and was killed in a car accident, I think he just wanted to let me know he was ok.
This dream was different than any other vivid dream I've ever had. It felt like more and it's hard to explain.

Yes. I was sitting in my grandmas house that was built in the 1870s. Watching TV on the couch one night and saw a girl standing in the doorway going out to the hall. Closed my eyes and shook my head to make sure I was not hallucinating and when I opened them she was gone. Waited a few seconds and my hairs on my arm stood straight up and had goosebumps all over. Just an uncomfortable feeling. Turned to look behind me and the girl was right behind the couch. Her head was barely above the back of the couch and about a foot from the back of my head. She was staring at me and yelling but no sound was coming from her mouth. I sprung from that couch and into my grandparents bedroom in about 2 seconds. Never moved that fast in my life. I was supposed to be there a week but made my dad come get me the next morning. I was 16 but slept with my grandma that night and grandpa slept on the couch.

I have before. A tall dark figure. Before seeing him I get this real eerie feeling, like legit hairs stand up. Never out in the open tho, like corner of a room.
