I was a network engineer for Worldcom in 2000. My group provided tech support to large corporations. One Friday night, a Dave and Busters manager went completely ape shite on me bc their credit card machine was down. Threatened to mail a package bomb to the office.

Had a gay guy scream while on a conference call with me and his office tech. Two solid minutes of screaming cuss words that were so loud and fast you could only pick out every third word. At the end...there was an awkward 10seconds of his heavy breathing then he goes, "ok, bye" and hangs up

We also had a recently fired Wcomm employee threaten to fly his personally owned MIG into our building. When he left we all gathered and figured it was BS bc who really has a "personally owned MIG". Bosses turned the threat in and later found out that the guy actually DID own a 1950's replica MIG-15.

this was pre-9/11

I can imagine the suckers who tent to own get mad when they realize how badly they were screwed.

No, they just get mad when it's time to pay their bills in general. And it gets worse when you show up to repossess the stuff. I just wish I had a camera on my phone when I use to work there. I'd be a world star/youtube celeb.

Watched an Iranian woman verbally abuse a postal employee about a month ago.

Long story short, the USPS worker said that the postal service in Tehran refused to accept the package; showing the woman the entire computer tracking transaction.

This woman started getting lippy, the postal woman was calm and tried to explain the situation. I'm standing in line watching this whole thing go down and was actually impressed with the USPS worker's restraint. Then...Iranian woman decides to, and I quote "You are a liar! This is the most worst country ever! You all lie!"

At this point I had, had enough. I took one look at this woman and told her to GTFO in front of a dozen people. Bunch of old ladies behind me gave the "mmm mmm mmmm" response. Man, I hate confrontation, but I wasn't going to let some a-hole do that in front of people I've known for decades and do a great job.

UT Football's Selvin Young went off on me at the hotel I worked at in Austin about 10 years ago. He was upset at me because we didn't have any King rooms, only doubles, so the girl he was trying to f*ck slept in a separate bed.

He tried to use the "customer is always right" line when the issue was something I had no control over.

I was happy when his NFL career became a complete failure.

My go-to story on stupid customers is when one female customer couldn't understand why she couldn't get a refund on a FREE car wash.

Whoever said it was right: Hell is indeed other people.

Worst verbal abuse I've seen was on an Austrian Airlines flight to Vienna. Two very loud and drunk Austrian guys were pissed because the flight attendant wouldn't give them any more booze. After 30 minutes of carrying on, the head flight attendant came over and told them that the captain was aware of their behavior and will have them arrested upon arrival if they continued. That stopped it.

I wonder if this is the same guy whose MiG-15 disappeared from radar between Baton Rouge and Lafayette. The pilot nor the plane haven't been seen since.
