re: Have you ever made a collect call before?

I remember in HS, people use to use the pay phone to call their parents collect, to let their parents know practice was over and they could come pick them up, but of course the parents wouldn't accept the calls.

I am sure I have made one, I received one from someone I know, who was in jail. Dude I know was in jail for like 2 months. One day, out the blue, he calls me up and talks to be for about a minute..Is like "hey you talked to _________?" I was like "yeah" kind of confused why he was asking me that and he was like "how has he been doing? I was just thinking I haven't saw him in awhile"... I was thinking "you haven't seen anybody in awhile you big dumb mother fricker.. You in jail". Then he is like "got to go, i'll holla when I am out"...

Every time I think about it, it makes me laugh.. Just because of the randomness of it.

You right. It wasn't some dude who grew up in the neighborhood next to mine. I just made it up.
