Only know a murderer...family friends when I was a kid. He was my older brothers best friend. They lived 2 houses down from us. Dude went to Cal (was one of the players in 'The Play' against Stanford). He ended up murdering his wife and kids. Burned the house down to try and cover it up

A friend I had in high school ended up murdering her boyfriend. So glad nothing went beyond infatuation.

he was a cop.
he was off duty trying to break up a domestic dispute at the apartment complex he lived at. It was at night time of course.
he was shot in the chest and the kid that did it got life in prison.

yes, will be ten years this month. just wrapped up our 2nd year of college. guy i knew was at a house party and was talking to a chick we went to school with in jr high/hs...her psycho bf came in the room and thought he was trying to hook up with her. went outside, got a gun and came back in and shot him.

my first cousin was murdered in 1981 in Breaux Bridge. Perp is in Angola for life. Armed robbery gone bad.
friend from Dallas was murdered by a guy he hired to help with maintaining his house 2nd home in Mt Vernon,TX
My sister's high school friend was stabbed to death in Kaplan in an armed robbery gone bad

I went to high school with a girl who was abducted in a grocery store parking lot and murdered. They never caught the murderer. I remember that she was a nice person.

One of my cousins sons stalked and killed his girlfriend in Thibodaux. Stabbed her 22 times with 6 different knives. The boy really was from a good family but got into drugs.

One of the most likable guys you could find. I am sure many on here know the type, we golfed and went out socially. His bad habit, which got him killed, was he could not leave the married gals alone.
I would tell him it's not worth it but he would laugh it off.

My first cousin was murdered back in 1979. His killer copped to manslaughter, was out in under a year.

Yes, my boss didn't show up to work one day and she was found murdered. She was a victim of Derrick Todd Lee.
