I knew a guy I worked with once that was obsessed with some pornstar. He ended up going to one of these convention things to meet her and was less than impressed. Apparently she was trashy as f***, scarred up, and nasty. Go figure.

He was a nerdy IT guy fwiw.

They have a thing called "Exxxotica" I went to a few years ago, maybe 2015 or 16 then again in I think 2018. It's an ok time but it's not really something that will have any wild stories. They have "after parties" so maybe that's where those happen. It's a lot like the Vegas shows. Girls are at booths and tables signing stuff and then there's little exhibitions and even concerts going on (usually a 90s rapper).

The porn girls are all surprisingly short, like 5'1. There are exceptions but in general they're all pretty tiny. There's always 1 or 2 that will look much better in person then expected. The more popular ones have long lines and then there's others that have none and are just on their phones. I'll admit I got pictures with a couple (these were free though I've heard they often charge) but then wonder why. It's not like I can put on them on facebook.

There were these guys walking around with these thousand dollar fancy cameras taking pictures. I guess they're super fans, and they post the pictures on twitter. They use hashtags and put them on the girls pages and what not. I hated these guys because I was terrified of ending up in the background of one of their pictures and being on twitter at a porn show. They have these cameras that often look like they cost as much as a used car. You see war correspondents with these things. These dudes are dedicated to their craft.

I don't know if it was just the time I went but the crowd was way more normal than I anticipated. Lots of couples actually. I thought it would be me and a bunch of other creepy losers but it was shockingly normal.
