Fairly or not, Apple's market cap has grown from $335B at Jobs's death in October 2011 to $940B as of today. It traded as high as $1.172T in September of 2018.
Jobs has been dead for nearly 8 years. Cook has done nothing to hurt the company or brand, and many of the criticisms in this thread were brought up about Apple with Jobs too.

Apple is the only tech company marketing that they are for privacy. They use their tight grip on their platform to do this.
That'll be a key seller when their AI brain interface chip competes with the Neuralink.

I was reading an article recently that made sense. They said mobile phone technology in general has kinda reached a plateau. Other than better battery life, more storage, and a high quality camera.. there aren't that many things left to add to phones that doesn't already exist. Especially since the average person simply uses their electronic devices for email, social media, and internet browsing.
The past 20 or so years was an abnormally drastic time for technology. Makes sense it would start to fizzle out for a little while.

I was an Apple fanboy, now I don't even care.
I use Apple products, but I haven't had a need to upgrade my phone or laptop in years. We've luckily gotten to the point where you aren't required to stand in line for the newest release in order to be able to use modern apps and whatnot.
I've had my Macbook Pro since 2010 and it still does everything I need it to. I've had my iPhone 8+ since it came out, and same thing. There isn't a single thing wrong with it. So why would I upgrade?

People can say it’s marketing but the ease of their interface and integration between devices makes it exceedingly easy for the average user.
Ding ding ding.
My wife can figure out all of their products. That means they are as intuitive and integrated as anything ever. Because she can barely turn on the TV.

Not going to lie, that was my exact reaction when looking it up too.
ETA - I also completely forgot Tim Cook was gay.

You don't actually believe this, do you? There are countless "liberals" that have become mega wealthy from being brilliant businessmen.
Mark Zuckerburg, Mark Cuban, Howard Schultz, etc.
There are people from both parties at the top of the business world. Don't be naive.
