That area is real tight knit, and if you aren’t from that area, or have a “Pointe Coupee” last name, you are and always will be an outsider. Black or white, race doesn’t matter…..Majority of the white and black folks are related to each other way down the line, due to the “history” of the area going back….

She hadn’t realize it’s the hand full of “pointe Coupee” families that:

Own all the buildings
Own mass majority of the lands
Run law enforcement
Run the courts
Run all the businesses
Run the schools (public and private)

My initial reaction was disgust. However, upon further reflection, I realized that the only people who would voluntarily donate money to the restaurant owner are extremely and dangerously gullible and/or woke crusaders - either way, I'm kind of happy to see them throw their money away.
