one of highest iqs on this site easily.

you're the one out here thinking twitter silencing gop voices when there are thousands of gop ppl who have large followings across Twitter. very simple to see they allow tradcon accounts to prosper

You are gaslighting. We aren’t talking about current followings. We are talking trends and replies. These are two very different things.

Social media is a cancer that I don’t participate in, buster. But it’s plain to see the outright shadow banning that Twitter does, buster. Maybe you should let people with a functioning brain do the talking okay?

I think Twitter does bias a little left, especially recently. Part of it is I think a lot of conservatives have left the platform. I don't think it's some mass conspiracy to silence the right though.

I think Facebook biases to the right. I also don't think it's some mass conspiracy to silence the left.

Just gonna ignore me? Sounds about right for someone who talks the talk but doesn’t walk the walk.

FB has gotten old and the users who are active lean right. But it’s much more of a user-controlled echo chamber than Twitter where most people you interact with are not your “friends” but well-known people and businesses. The tweets they create and those responses are handled much differently. Basically, I don’t think it’s fair to the compare the two.

idk about that dude but maybe

here's an example where I know tradcons are favored from today

charles barkley is trending on sports twitter #1 for his comments last night

the top comment on this "trend" is from candace owens who calls out LeBron and praises chuck and shaq LINK

so in this example…. tradcons win and soys lose

a few months ago they made a public statement thatb they're going to make twitter more "fact based" which is a pretty impossible task ngl

anyways I don't think they've figured out the algo completely on this fact based goal

It depends on who you follow and if they’ve commented on that trend. If Candace Owens is your top reply, that’s on you. Mine is Clay Travis. Once I get beyond people I follow, it becomes very harsh towards Chuck.

i don't follow candace or clay

since you follow clay that will be your top..

clay doesn't appear in my top on this trend at all fwiw. idk what to think of that

Their daily top trending posts are readily available, and almost every day they're dominated by conservative sites. Ben Shapiro usually holds a couple of spots in that top 10.

Again, I don't think it's entirely a conspiracy by Facebook to amplify those posts, and more just how those posts are shared by end users.

I didn’t see the Candace Owens response. I don’t follow her.
