The last time I did stand up this girl was telling period jokes and you could see how uncomfortable everyone was, which she took as a cue to get louder

Well there is just not very much amusing about punctuation regardless of the volume.

I MC'd my high school talent show at 16 and had about five minutes of material. We didn't realize that the judges would deliberate for twenty minutes before picking a winner. I tried to wing it, and was lucky to leave with my life.

That scared me away from ever thinking about doing stand-up.

I think some of the parents were booing me.

I thought about giving it a try (I am being serious, but there will be "stand-up" jokes that will be made and it will not be funny because they are all predictable by now).

As long as its in a casual setting I don't have a problem with being in front of a bunch of people and I got jokes.. When I say "thought about", that's as far as I ever gone with it. I never looked into it or anything, but if anyone knows a place in the Baton Rouge area I can do an open mic, let me know.

Unless your internet persona is a complete 180 of your IRL persona, I've got bad news for you.

Apparently not. Here's what he has to say about that:

Trust me, if you met me in person you would have a completely different opinion of me.

Maybe. But I've never seen you post anything funny or witty. That's kind of what comedians are good at.

You've done a great job at suppressing that side of you.

You should give it a try because this was pretty funny.

You could do jokes such as:

"What do Christopher Reeve & I have in common? WRONG. Christopher Reeve is dead.
What celebrity is the opposite of me? Christopher Walken"
