Has anyone seen this list of Catholic school tuition in NOLA?

I'll just have to suffer with the good public schools in the suburbs

When I consider how many former private school students I've met in my years around LSU who had significantly lower scholastic achievements than public school products, I feel justified in saying that I think private school for elementary and secondary education is a total and complete ripoff

That is, unless you manage to receive a full scholarship to a top-100 university.

I have to agree that I don't see families getting their dollars worth from my observations at LSU. Still private/parochial school in Nola is dirt cheap compared to where I grew up. Cheap parochial starts at $13k and private schools average over $40k per year.

jesuit is still under $10k. I thought they were suppose to be elite.

That's nothing. There are a number of high schools that hit the 40k/yr mark in NYC. I refuse to pay that.

Jesuit also has an endowment that subsidizes tuition.
