Has anyone ever bought/signed up for anything from a telemarketer?

I usually hang up 2 words into the conversation.
But I'm curious if anyone has ever gotten anything positive (or bad) out of one of those calls?

I doubt anyone under 35 has ever bought anything from a fricking telemarketer cold call.
Maybe poor people under 35. Those folks aren't good with money.

I had a telemarketer call me from a State Police Benevolent association. I looked his organization up online while he was going through his speech. It seemed legit so I gave $25.00.
I had my name sold to the sucker list and received no less than 200 calls in the next 6 months from similarly named organizations.
