I drink it every day and it's delicious. I have to blend it for it to taste good. Otherwise the melted butter forms an oil slick on top and that's not good eats.

Doesn't the consumption of calories break a fast? If not, I'm going to use hamburgers to help me through those tough hours.

The coffee with milk and ghee shuts hunger down immediately. It’s pretty amazing.

Well that's because you've broken your fast.

Wouldn’t the butter float? Why not just eat a chunk they have your coffee??

Wife has done it for nearly a decade when she is losing weight.

It is actually really good. I've had it a few times. Filling too.

Most people are the same.
For me it's 10 am.

Not the thread topic though.

I tried the bulletproof butter in my coffee thing, once.

It's a great way to intermittently fast.

That's not intermittent fasting. That's just to get your keto % up.

A Christmas or two ago, I decided that some hot buttered rum sounded like something kinda good to sip on by the fire. I looked up some recipes and then made one. Turns out, the spices and rum were damn good, but the butter just added a big, nasty grease slick on top of the whole thing. I can't see butter on coffee being much better.

I wouldn’t see a problem with it. Doesn’t everything you eat end up in the same place?

So if you are looking for a few grams of fat and dairy proteins, I would say this is okay.

What are you supposed to do just eat the butter like a cube of cheese?

I as a child remember dipping buttered toast in coffee and drinking it up.

Of course now I grew up into a lard arse but I digress.
