Seems like every single day I see a catalytic converter stolen story. Even locally. And some of these people will be without their car for months, because shops are backed up and parts may be backordered?

From my limited to nonexistent understanding, I believe some newer cars are making them without valuable metals and also putting them in the engines for harder access?

The suspects have been arrested and charged with capital murder. LINK

A third suspect sought in the incident, 17-year-old Fredrick Tardy, was arrested and charged with capital murder, authorities said Friday night.
