Chem and Elec blow the rest out of the water imo. The reason why there is few 4.0s in Mech in my experience is bc the smartest go to Chem, ELEC are smart as shite but usually weird as hell.

Oh I agree. I was just debating the statement that only ME's have few 4.0 students. I've heard stories of Dooley giving someone a B because he didn't want them to get a 4.0 thinking that would make our program look too easy.

ChemE's maybe don't think so because they like Chemistry, but no one gives them shite. Their thermo is whack.

EE/ME split by interest.

?

Not saying it is easy bc none of them are easy but in my experience those two are a good bit tougher than the rest. The theories are diff tricky to get your head around.

Given your ignorance of the engineering field, I know you're not an engineer. Also judging by your posts, you're sure as hell not an English major.

What would your nomination be?

Process Thermodynamics, or over the arrow chemistry, is very different from general thermo. I actually though my general thermo class was one of the hardest I had to take; not as hard as Pchem but I still struggled with it. Our class had about a 40 average and our Prof was a dip shite that used to work at Nasa.

C'mon dude. How many different XE thermos have you passed???

ME has the hardest thermo and the hardest fluids course. Tis not debatable.

If you've taken Chem and OrChem up to II you could easily manufacture some of your favorite substances.

I dated a hot girl with a PhD in organic.

You would have probably died from bliss overdose.

If I had to choose the hardest though, I would say it's either Chemical or Electrical.

So you agree

It is still my goal to (common law) wife a hot chemist who will manufacture stuff I have no business attempting in exchange for good p33n.

I'd debate on the fluids part. You haven't had fluids with Wetzel. And these are some of the easier ChE classes. Unit Ops, Kinetics, J Lab with a grading scale shifted upwards to weed people out, Plant Design, and Senior Lab are all much more difficult.

Google Uncle Fester's Practical Guide to ____ Manufacture, or Alexander Shulgin's TIKHAL and PIKHAL

ALL OF THE ABOVE REFERENCES ARE GERMAINE TO CHEMICAL ENGINEERING AND PURELY FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES

Andddd you didn't have fluids with wang

Once again, stupid thread is stupid.

I had a REALLLLLL good friend in chemE fluids while I was in ME fluids though, and her tests were definitely easier than mine.

The degree as a whole is debatable to no end until Einstein comes back from the dead and takes all of them.

Fluids and thermo is not. ME = hard as frick.

What can y'all tell me about this curriculum at UAH? I've never heard of optical engineering until a younger cousin decided to major in it there.
