Not OK. Not good. But I'm getting used to it. There's therapy in this for me. It helps.

And I'm curious about why you say you "can't" go into therapy for some of your trauma. There has to be some reason why you "cant" do that. But I can't imagine what it is.

You can't explain to people that you want to go into therapy in order to discuss the trauma of your mother's death as an adolescent, and the the fact that your father wasn't able to cope with her death, and abandoned you to raise yourself? This is too embarrassing or not significant enough to be worthy of your time? I'm lost.

Or, tell him and see what he says. But it's your time, your money, your emotional health. I can't imagine he wouldn't be able to see that.
