Hammond man accused of trying to sell stolen laptop to uniformed deputy

After Landry gave conflicting accounts of who owned the laptop, Deputy Michael D'Amato detained him and soon discovered that the laptop as well as the car Landry was driving had been reported stolen from a home several feet from Landry's residence on Blanche Lane.
