About 20 years ago I was stationed with and in the in the same flight as his niece. I think she was from New Jersey. He sent some stuff over to our office around the holidays. Never got to meet him or anything like that. I have always thought that it was great of him to go out of his way to send that care package over though. He was already one of my favorites as a kid growing up in the 80s.
