It doesn't matter. They had no expectation of these pictures being in the public eye. Just like someone in a locker room also has no expectation of their naked bodies being put on the Internet. It's still victim blaming.

I'm not blaming the victims here.
I'm saying without said content there is no victim.
Was their intent to have these made public? Obviously not.
Is there a huge risk of identity and data theft when you put sensitive material on an internet connected device linked with cloud accounts? Yes.
If you want to be absolutely sure a picture of your butthole doesn't end up in the wrong hands, you might want to keep it off of a medium that would allow that to happen.
That's what I'm saying. This isn't blaming the victim, the guy is an a-hole he should due more time for this IMO, it's just a statement of the facts. It's not their fault this happened, but they could have been more careful since they produced the actual material and stored it in a non secure fashion.

Yes I agree it was stupid for them to do that. VERY stupid. But how much of a basic understanding do random celebs have of computer security?

Did you read the post where I explained I wasn't blaming the victim, I was just expressing how they might have been more careful?
